The Sinampalokang manok was comforting — the right balance of sour and savory. The seafood bilao was generous and fresh. We especially enjoyed the Bagaybay. My personal favorite was the pancit guisado. It was well-seasoned.

We had a great dining experience at Garden by the Bay. The food was delicious and the staff were very accommodating. Even though it was full during dinner on a Sunday, the service was still smooth and we really enjoyed our time. It was a wonderful experience with my friends and we would be happy to come back again.

We came from a road trip, we are at least an hour away from the city when we decided this is where we will be having our dinner with friends. We called in advance if we can have a reservation and maybe if they can prepare our food in advance as well so we won’t be waiting too long for our food after we arrive. And yes they are happy to serve us and just told us to call again 30 minutes before our arrival. We sent our food selections through text and they confirmed. Everything went well and our table and our food is ready by the time we arrived. It was a great experience. The last time we had our dinner here before this was with our family, a reservation of around 20pax, and everyone love the food and the place. The resort, the restaurant, the food, the staff, the ambiance are great in every way. They both have an indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor setting with a lovely ocean view. I highly recommended this restaurant and resort.

I had such a great time at Garden Bay Restaurant and Resort. The first thing that stood out was the beautiful view of the sea—absolutely peaceful and relaxing. There’s this calm breeze that makes the whole place feel soothing, and even some birds casually flying by that add to the laid-back vibe. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel like slowing down and just enjoying the moment. The dining experience was amazing, not just because of the view but also the atmosphere. It’s both a spot where you can relax as an adult and still bring kids along, since there’s a fun playground for them to enjoy while you unwind. The food is reasonably priced, which makes it even better, and the service really stood out—friendly, attentive, and they even surprised us with special birthday treats, which made the visit feel extra memorable. Overall, Garden Bay isn’t just a restaurant—it’s the kind of place you go for the full experience: great food, amazing service, and a peaceful seaside setting that makes you want to stay longer. Definitely worth recommending for both family outings and special occasions.

I gave 3 stars for the food because they always serve it cold. I requested that the pancakes be hot, and it took them 20 minutes to do it. On the other hand, the service of the crew is immaculate and very satisfying. Ambiance is also good when high tide, u can feel the breeze of the sea kissing your face

I had a fantastic dining experience here! The food is excellent, and you can't go wrong if you have guests visiting from outside of Davao. They specialize in serving delicious local dishes that are sure to impress. The staff is incredibly charismatic, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Davao's food scene.

First, all the food we ordered is great, supposedly we need to order for bfast menu, but we were able to avail for their lunch, we only need to wait for a few minutes. Second, their service is top tier, very quick to respond to our requests, the food was able to deliver fast also. Durian shake is the very best we tried, while their avocado shake needs a lil bit of extra sugar bcoz it was so bitter.
